Welcome to the World, Sawyer: A Newborn Session in Bend, Oregon

Sweet Sawyer was born just before Christmas to a family who absolutely couldn’t wait for his arrival. It was such an honor to document this family who was clearly smitten with their newest member. Sawyer’s big brother is old enough to help and his parents couldn’t be happier to have their boys finally together!

Newborn sessions never cease to amaze me. Moms and dads have barely had any sleep, they are caring around the clock for a new person, and yet, they somehow find the energy and time to have me in their home. It’s my goal with every newborn session to for my clients to feel as relaxed and low-stress as possible. No cleaning, no preparing necessary. I am here to help make the bed, clear away any clutter in the shot and to allow them to focus on their family. These sessions always leave me feeling grateful for new life, and for the families who trust me to document it.

If you’re interested in a newborn session, inquire with me! I usually suggest booking your session for 2-3 weeks after birth, but I work with newborns from a few days old to 6 weeks old!
